CHESS stands for California Higher Education Student Summit. Up to twelve Fresno State students can have the opportunity to attend this conference in Sacramento, CA from April 6-8.
“It’s important for students to attend CHESS because it’s a great way for students to see what’s going on with the CSU system on a statewide level,” said Rebecca Rosengarten, Vice President of Finance for ASI. “It’s an opportunity to experience leadership workshops, legislative workshops, and experience lobbying at the capital while participating in a conference.”
This is an absolutely free trip for current Fresno State Students. The sign-ups are space is limited to the first 12 that sign-up. The deadline to sign-up is Friday, Feb. 8 at 5:00 p.m. Sign up in USU 317.
