Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 25thfrom 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning is asking all faculty, staff, students, and alumni to participate in and help spread the word about Make a Difference Day!
Make a Difference Day is a national community service event encompassing the most comprehensive nation-wide day of helping others. It is a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors.
Locally, Fresno State volunteers will have the opportunity to volunteer at two different projects: trail building with Sierra Foothill Conservancy orrefurbishing Woodward Park. Volunteer spaces are limited and location choices are on a first come first serve basis. We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 22nd. Volunteers will be provided lunch following their volunteer work.
Volunteers may participate individually or as a group.
