October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Student Health and Counseling Center invites you to join the movement to help raise awareness about this important topic.
This Thursday, Oct. 22, is National Wear Purple Day. A day to wear purple to show your support for survivors of domestic/dating violence and bring awareness so that intimate partner violence will end.
To show your support, post a picture of yourself wearing purple using #PurpleThursday and tag @FSHealthCenter and @MarjareeMasonCenter.
If you or someone you know is dealing with domestic/dating violence, you can contact Fresno State’s Confidential Survivor Advocate, Mindy Kates at 559.278.6896 or survivoradvocate@csufresno.edu.
