Sometimes helping people can seem daunting. But on Tuesday, November 14 you can help a person in need by donating blood.
Hosted by the Jan and Bud Richter Center, the on-campus blood and marrow registry drive will kick off from 4:30 p.m-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14 in the Residence Dining Hall. If those times aren’t the best for your busy schedule, there will be another two more opportunities to help those in need on Wednesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Maple Mall and USU.
For the convenience of all donors, there will be multiple bloodmobile locations to donate, and all blood donors will receive a free T-shirt.
To donate safely, you must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 lbs., and be in good general health. Make sure to eat a good meal and drink tons of water before you donate. Don’t forget to bring a photo ID and know your social security number.
