Fresno State is getting ready for its largest student-planned event- Vintage Days! The 43rd annual Vintage Days festival takes place Friday, April 21st through Sunday, April 23rd. The three-day event is a tradition dating back to 1975 and is expected to bring 50,000 attendees from Fresno and the surrounding communities.
The festival prides itself on highlighting student clubs and organizations, who will run over 40 mouth-watering food and game booths. Local food vendors, including Dutch Bros., Jay’s Specialty Ice Cream, and Country Faire Cinnamon Rolls, will showcase the Valley’s excellence. In addition, there will be a beer and wine garden, live local entertainment, and an extensive Crafts Faire with 120 vendors.
This Fresno State tradition will be fun for the whole family with Kid’s Zone, where children can enjoy activities like crafts, inflatables, a petting zoo, a trackless train, and a reptile show by Reptile Ron; Boomtown, where you can find the student-run game booths and inflatables; Fresno State Spotlight, which promotes clubs and organizations by giving them an opportunity to share their accomplishments for the year with the community; and the Performance Stage, where you can watch talented performers including bands, dancers, and musicians throughout the weekend.
Vintage Days will host ‘Flick Night’ on Saturday with an outdoor screening of “Back to the Future” starting at 8 p.m. on the lawn in Boomtown North (near the Science & Peters Business buildings) – just bring your own blanket.
Admission is free and paid parking is not enforced. No pets except service animals are allowed.
