Students! VOTE VOTE VOTE!
Elections are next week from Tuesday, March 15 at 9a.m. through Thursday, March 17 at noon. All votes will be cast through an online ballot system. There are two ways to cast your votes; online through their Fresno State emails and in person at various polling stations throughout campus which will direct them to the online site.
All students will receive an email in their Fresno State email accounts with a confidential username and password as well as a link to the voting. By using their unique username and password, each student can cast their votes online at any time beginning on March 15 at 9 a.m. and ending March 17 at 12 p.m. (noon). The second avenue to vote besides online will be at a polling station that will be available in front of the Kennel Bookstore Tuesday, March 15 and Wednesday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fresno State students who can show their voter confirmation at the polling station will receive a full-sized bag of Skittles.
Votes will be tallied by the League of Women Voters starting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17 in the University Student Union room 316. This process is open for anyone to view. ASI Election results will be announced on Thursday, March 17 at approximately 2 p.m. on the Free Speech Platform by the Election Commissioner. Newly elected officials take office starting June 1, 2016.
