The University Student Union and The Richter Center are currently accepting applications for the 2014 Alternative Spring Break Program (ASB). Applications are due in the Student Involvement Office (USU Room 306) on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. The program is free for students and transportation is provided.
This year marks the 6th successive year of the program and 18 students will be selected to serve on the 2014 ASB team. The team will work with the Fresno Rescue Mission fromApril 14 – 17, 2014 specifically the Rescue the Children site. Benefits of Alternative Spring Break include developing leadership skills through team building and communication, networking with other students and community organizations, enhancing personal and professional development, and completing 20-25 community service hours.
