Associated Students, Inc. is proud to partner with the Fresno State Student Cupboard for their eighth annual Caroling for Cans event!
The campaign will officially begin on November 30th when various departments around campus are asked to start collect cans leading up to the big day, December 10th from 10 A.M. till 12 P.M., when student volunteers will visit offices across campus to collect the cans.
Central locations for anyone to drop off non-perishable items include the Starbucks inside Henry Madden Library, the first floor of the University Student Union, and inside the University Police Department. Staff and faculty are encouraged to contribute to the collection of cans within their respective offices.
All non-perishable food items collected will benefit the Fresno State Student Cupboard, helping the campus combat food insecurity over the holiday season.
Students are encouraged to participate in the collection of cans and the caroling. Volunteers will meet at the student cupboard at 9 a.m. and are encouraged to bring an empty backpack to collect the cans. Holiday attire is strongly encouraged. Hot chocolate, coffee and Danishes will be provided to student volunteers.
