Celebrate Black History Month with Author Shämir Káli Griffin! Identity in Shades will be a two-part event which will include experiences that he shared in his book “Identity in Shades: Urban Poetry and Soul”, best described as “Pages of wisdom and soul that echo past the barriers of ignorance and enlighten the reader with truth and knowledge.” participants will be provided an opportunity to gain important leadership skills while also engaging at an intellectual level as Griffin shares his experience and the lessons he has learned in his journey. Everyone is welcome to attend this event. There will be a free book raffle of Shämir Káli Griffin’s book, Identity in Shades!
