Join the Richter Center from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 for Make A Difference Day.
Fresno State students, faculty, staff, and alumni are encouraged to volunteer with this years community partners; Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Sierra Foothill Conservancy.
Make a Difference Day is a national event that benefits the community.
Past service projects completed during this event include refurbishment and beautification projects at Woodward Park with Fresno PARCs and at Rotary Storyland and Playland, building of hiking trails with Sierra Foothill Conservancy, and gleaning with the Fresno Food Recovery Network.
Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
Volunteers may participate individually or as a group. Each participant is required to register and complete the appropriate waiver forms. Some sites may conduct a Megan’s Law check on volunteers. Volunteers will be responsible for providing transportation to and from service site. Volunteers must be available to serve for the entire duration of the event.
