Future Fresno State students and their family members have a chance to experience campus life first hand at this years Super Saturday: African American College and Career Summit during homecoming week from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Satellite Student Union.
The summit will provide information about accessing resources, networking and collaboration to address college readiness, retention and graduation from a post-secondary institution.
Students and their families can attend workshops, hear from educational and community leaders, learn about community resources and win raffle prizes.
All participants are invited to attend the Super Saturday tailgate from 4 to 7 p.m. before Fresno State’s football game against Colorado State.
Super Saturday is organized by the African American Initiative, designed to increase outreach efforts, enrollment, college readiness and graduation rates among African American students.
