The Fresno State Gun Club is hosting the Fresno State Safety Awareness Day on April 23, 2014. The event will take place in the Satellite Student Union from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be a free and open event for everyone to learn about safety and awareness on campus and there will also be food and drinks provided.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Chief David Huerta of the University Police Department. Some of the topics will include: well-lit paths, what to do in a catastrophic emergency, as well as what communication systems the university has in place to notify students.
