What is CSU Summer Arts? CSU students and non-students alike come together during the summer to take intensive two-week courses in the discipline of their choice. This year 20 different courses in creative writing, theatre, dance, visual art & design, media & animation and music will be offered. Check the gallery of past CSU Summer Arts below!
But what makes these classes so different? Students work side-by-side with industry professionals at the tops of their careers. Bruce Logan is one of those professionals. You may not know his name but you sure know his work. Bruce is the special effects Jedi who blew up the Death Star, among many of his other credits.
With all of this being said, what do the Fresno State students get out of this experience?

- Summer 2017 courses available: 3-6 units of transferable credit – each course is worth three credits
- If you are a California resident, you may take a second Summer Arts course (up to six units) with no additional enrollment fee.
