Parking Fee Forgiveness Program
In collaboration with the Student Cupboard and the Traffic Operations, ASI is happy to introduce the “Parking Fee Forgiveness Program”. The purpose of this program is to help alleviate a financial burden to Fresno State students who receive a parking citation for “no parking permit displayed” by allowing students to complete 2 hours of community service hours at the Amendola Student Cupboard.

Vintage Days 50th Celebration
Come down to Vintage Days and celebrate 50 years of community and excitement!
From mouthwatering eats to thrilling entertainment, Vintage Days has it all. Take this opportunity to peruse through the locally sourced, hand-crafted arts and goods at the Crafts Faire! Explore each table’s unique staple and find something that connects with you, all while supporting the community. As for entertainment, you won’t need to look far! Live performances all weekend long featuring local acts from all across the Central Valley! With attractions such as a mechanical bull, rock-climbing wall, and more, there’s something for every thrill-seeker.

Vintage Days Kick-off Breakfast tickets are now on sale! Don’t miss the 50th Vintage Days Kick-off Breakfast on Friday, April 19 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Residence Dining Hall and balcony! Or, take your breakfast to go. Visit with our Celebrity Leadership Servers as they dish up Texas French Toast, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and other breakfast fare. Tickets are $8 faculty and $7 students. Bulk rates available when purchasing 10 tickets or more. Tickets on the day of the breakfast will be $9.

Take Back the Night
Take Back the Night returns on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5 to 10 p.m. RSU Event Plaza! Learn and stand in solidarity with our survivors of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. This year, we hope to make known of the experiences of our Indigenous communities. Featuring: Resources to Support Survivors, Food (While Supplies Last), Formal Programming, Protest March, and Survivor Speakout.
The event hosts are as follows: Fresno State Survivor Advocacy Services at the Student Health and Counseling Center, Breaking the Silence, Fresno State Women’s Alliance Social Justice Club, Fresno State American Indian Studies, Fresno State Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Fresno State Title IX, and the Fresno State Cross Cultural Gender Center.

The California State University is now accepting applications for its 2024 CSU Summer
Arts program, which offers undergraduate, graduate, and advanced practitioners a chance to live and study with world-renowned artists and CSU faculty in the fields of art, creative writing, dance, media, music, and theatre. An immersive, multi-disciplinary arts experience, CSU Summer Arts will be held in two sessions at Fresno State: June 24 to July 7 and July 8 to July 21. International courses will also be offered in Italy, Germany, and Mexico.
“Summer Arts was a truly transformative experience for me,” said Angel Lesnikowski, a working artist who attended Summer Arts in 2022. “It provided a safe place to explore new ideas, take artistic risks without fear, and push the boundaries.”
CSU Summer Arts offers a wide array of creative learning and mastery opportunities in

Students can choose to attend one or both two-week sessions. At the end of the
summer, students proudly showcase their artistic talents in free and open-to-the-public
events.
Apply now! CSU Summer Arts is accepting applications through May 15 for courses at
Fresno State, and there is still time to apply for study abroad courses, but space limited.
Courses are open to students from community colleges, CSU and UC campuses and
private colleges, or members of the community with the desire to master their craft.
Students admitted to the program can earn up to six units of transferable credit.
Scholarships are available with a deadline of April 15 for priority consideration.

Carmina Burana
Experience the dramatic and exhilarating power of “Carmina Burana,” a cantata that remains one of the most popular pieces in the classical music repertoire. This spectacular performance, featuring a full orchestra, chorus, and soloists, brings to life the vibrant and rhythmic compositions of Carl Orff. Based on medieval poems, “Carmina Burana” explores themes of fate, fortune, and the joys and trials of life. The piece is renowned for its dynamic energy, memorable melodies, and the famous opening and closing movement, “O Fortuna,” known for its dramatic and powerful chorus. This concert promises to be a thrilling and unforgettable experience, captivating audiences with its raw emotional intensity and majestic sound.

The Graduate Student Success Center (GSSC) is located in the Library on the 2nd floor (Room 2119). This study space is available for use during the library operating hours.
In our 1,100 square foot space, dedicated to Fresno State graduate students, you will find the following:
Individual Study Rooms – no reservations; if it’s empty, you can use it
Snack Station – free coffee, snacks (while supplies last), refrigerator, micro-wave
Collaboration Spaces – large table plus smaller tables
