Beginning Jan. 25, 2021, all will be required to enroll in DUO 2-Step Verification as a data safety measure.
Those not enrolled by the deadline will lose access to CANVAS, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, and Gmail.
2-Step Verification (2-factor authentication or 2fa) adds a second layer of security to FresnoState accounts and keeps accounts secure even if your password is compromised.
Verifying your identity using a second factor such as your desk phone, mobile device, or token prevents anyone but you from logging in even if your password is compromised.
2-Step Verification will be rolled out in phases to our campus community. The first phase will require anyone with access to confidential or sensitive data to enroll in 2-Step Verification.
