Amerasia Week 2026
Monday, April 6th- API Arts and Crafts
Time/Location: 2pm – 3pm at RSU 210
We will be making arts and crafts related to different API cultures, and supplies will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Pizza and snacks will be provided.
Tuesday, April 7th- Paws and Pans
Time/Location: 3pm – 4pm at Family Food Science 108
A cooking workshop in collaboration with OCSL and CCGC where students can learn to make rice paper samosas! Spots are limited, so please see the @ocslprogram instagram in order to sign up.
Wednesday, April 8th- Diversity Dance Workshop
Time/Location: 4pm -7pm at RSU Plaza

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, so bring your friends and family! Come join us in celebrating Culture Night and API culture through various performances from the Fresno State campus and the community. Vintage Days 2026
Just a few more days until Vintage Days returns to Fresno State!
Vintage Days 2026 will be held on Friday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in parking lot P30 – P31.
Enjoy a fun-filled three-day weekend with free admission and parking, featuring over 160 craft vendors, 30+ live performances, delicious food, and exciting attractions for all ages.
From a Candy Land–themed Kids Zone, attractions, an Anime Gaming Con, a Beer and Wine garden, and a student designer fashion show, there’s something for everyone. Bring your friends and family and be part of this beloved Fresno State tradition!

Arts in Motion
Arts in Motion, celebrates scholarship recipients, honors students of distinction and names the Dean’s Medalist for the College of Arts and Humanities. From the creative artists to the humanists, every scholarship winner and Student of Distinction reflects the experimentation, compassion, and curiosity that Fresno State fosters.
The Arts in Motion event is at 4 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the Fresno State Concert Hall. A reception will follow in the band room.

Conclave | Cineculture film screening

Conclave is a 2024 political thriller by Swiss-Austrian director Edward Berger and British screenwriter Peter Straughan. Based on the 2016 novel by British novelist and former journalist Robert D. Harris, this film follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events – selecting the new Pope, the next world leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence uncovers a trail of deep secrets left in the dead Pope’s wake, secrets which could shake the foundations of the Church. 120 minutes.

What’s Next? Armenian Genocide Restitution in the Post-Recognition Era
Dr. Taner Akçam (Armenian Genocide Research Program, The Promise Armenian Institute, UCLA) and director Carla Garapedian will introduce the film.
The film documents a March 2023 conference held at UCLA that examined the future of restitution and justice following the United States’ recognition of the Armenian Genocide in 2021. Through discussions among leading scholars, legal experts, and policymakers, the documentary explores the feasibility of launching an Armenian Genocide reparations movement in the post-recognition era, the legal avenues available within the American legal system, and whether the Holocaust restitution movement may serve as a model for Armenian Genocide restitution.

Flies, Cockroaches and Poets journal launch
The Chicanx Writers and Artists Association (CWAA), a student organization at Fresno State, presents a launch event for the 26th issue of the literary journal Flies, Cockroaches and Poets.
The event is supported by the university’s Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing and hosted by CWAA student organizers. This year’s journal was funded with the generous support of 60 philanthropic partners — including students, alumni, and community members — through a Fresno State crowdfunding campaign.
