Here at Fresno State, students decide what happens on their campus. The proposition for a new University Student Union has been a hot topic since students voted down the first proposition last spring. The choice is up to you, the students, and we want to hear your thoughts!

I think students told you what they though overwhelmingly in the 2017 ASI Elections. Stop wasting students funds pushing this.
Hi,
Students across the campus still see the need for more meeting, study, and gathering space in our university. Since the last vote, student leaders of our University Student Union (USU) have conducted several focus groups and group discussions, and we have learned that many students voted no for the project last year because the language of the referendum was a bit confusing and thought they were voting on a tuition increase. Overall, it is clear, that we did not do a good job explaining all the elements attached to the project. This year, the project is all student led and we are really taking our time to hear the campus and to compose a project that everyone can support.
Also, we would like to make this very clear, NO students funds have been used to fund this project.
Please feel free to attend our USU Board of Directors’ meetings (held everything Monday 3:30pm-5pm in USU 308). We would love to sit down with you and have a discussion about the project.
Best,
Juan Guzman
