Dear Bulldogs,
Your safety and well-being are priorities for Fresno State. The University is committed to creating and sustaining a campus community free of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.
Our commitment to safety and a recent mandate from the California State University now requires students to complete training to comply with federal law.The Haven Understanding Sexual Assault training module is an interactive, online program designed to inform students about the critical issues of sexual violence that impact our society at large and countless college students across the country.
You must complete this two-part online Haven program by March 20, 2015. To get started on the 45-minute module, click here. If you experience any problems accessing any portions of the online training due to incompatibility with assistive technology or if you need the information provided in an alternative format, please proceed to the Haven Student Training – Alternate Format webpage at http://fresnostate.edu/ adminserv/hr/title-ix/haven- alt-format.html. If you do not complete the training, you will not be allowed to register for fall 2015 classes. We hope this training will result in a better-informed, healthy and safe campus community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lynnette Zelezny, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
