As the semester comes to a close, these final events are a chance to recognize how far we’ve come and where we can go next. It wasn’t just about sharing our work, but about highlighting the voices, ideas, and effort that shaped this space into something meaningful. What began as a simple effort grew into a community built on creativity, consistency, and connection. This last stretch is a moment to reflect on that progress and leave with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to carry what we’ve built here into whatever comes next.

But things quickly spiral into romantic chaos when Viola falls for Orsino, who’s in love with the Countess Olivia, who then falls for Viola in disguise. Armenian Sharakans: Origins, Development, and Living Tradition
This lecture explores the rich tradition of Armenian sharakans—the liturgical hymns of the Armenian Church—tracing their origins, historical development, and enduring role in worship. Beginning with the earliest compositions, it examines how sharakans evolved over the centuries in form, style, and theological expression, and how they became an integral part of the Armenian church rite. These themes will be illustrated through live performances of selected sharakans, providing both historical insight and a direct engagement with this distinctive musical heritage.
